Welcome to NewRoleKit. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our platform. By creating an account or accessing any content on NewRoleKit, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. Who We Are

NewRoleKit is an online learning platform that offers structured, text-based learning paths designed to help people transition into non-coding technology roles such as Product Manager, Data Analyst, UX/UI Designer, and others. The platform is operated by Ofir Ozon, an individual based in Israel ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use NewRoleKit. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

3. Your Account

You may browse the first two topics of any track without an account. To save your progress, access premium content, or use bootcamp features, you must register with a valid email address and password.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at ofirozon@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Free and Paid Access

NewRoleKit operates on a freemium model:

• Free tier: The first two topics in each learning track are available to all visitors, including guests without an account. Guest progress is stored in your browser's local storage and is not backed up.
• Pro subscription: A paid subscription unlocks all topics across all tracks, bootcamp deliverables, interview drills, and any future features designated as Pro. Subscription billing, pricing, and payment processing will be described at the point of purchase when payments are enabled. Until then, no payment is required and no payment information is collected.

We reserve the right to change which content is free or paid with reasonable notice.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are not yet enabled on NewRoleKit. When subscription billing is introduced, full pricing terms, billing cycles, and refund policies will be published here and presented to you before any charge is made. We will not charge you without your explicit agreement.

We intend to offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. Final refund terms will be confirmed when payments go live.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use NewRoleKit only for lawful, personal learning purposes. You must not:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly display any course content without our written permission
• Share your account credentials with others or allow simultaneous use by multiple people
• Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access or extract content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, text, graphics, logos, and software on NewRoleKit are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial learning. This licence ends when your account is terminated or your subscription lapses.

8. Your Data

How we collect, store, and process your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using NewRoleKit you agree to our Privacy Policy.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your Account page or by emailing ofirozon@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

9. AI Features

NewRoleKit plans to offer AI-powered features including automated capstone grading and mock interview feedback. These features are not yet live. When they are introduced, any AI-generated feedback is provided for educational guidance only and should not be taken as a guarantee of professional competency or employment outcomes. AI outputs may contain errors.

10. No Guarantee of Employment

NewRoleKit provides educational content to help you develop knowledge and skills relevant to technology careers. We do not guarantee that completing any track, passing any quiz, or earning any certificate will result in a job offer, promotion, or salary increase. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Disclaimers

NewRoleKit is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of NewRoleKit, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

13. Third-Party Services

NewRoleKit uses third-party services including Supabase (authentication and database) and, once enabled, a payment processor and PostHog analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of NewRoleKit after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using NewRoleKit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a current paid subscription period.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, we both agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting ofirozon@gmail.com.
